More Salary (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website more-salary.com. We provide a free AI-powered salary negotiation letter generator.

2. What data we collect

Form data you enter (name, job title, salary figures, company name) - this is sent to OpenAI to generate your letter. We do not store this data on our servers.
Rate-limit data (IP range, anonymous device ID cookie, usage counters, unlock expiry) - used solely to prevent abuse and enforce free/paid access rules.
Payment data - payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or CVC.
Usage analytics - if you consent to cookies, we collect anonymised usage data to understand how the tool is used.

3. How we use your data

To generate your salary negotiation letter via the OpenAI API
To enforce fair usage limits (max 1 free generation per day unless Pro is unlocked)
To process one-time payments and activate paid access via Stripe webhooks
To improve the tool through anonymised analytics (with your consent)

We do not sell your data. We do not use your letter content for marketing or share it with third parties beyond OpenAI for generation purposes.

4. Stripe payments

When you purchase Pro access, checkout and payment processing are handled by Stripe (stripe.com). Stripe may process personal data such as your email, billing address, payment method metadata, transaction ID, and fraud signals. We receive limited billing information needed to confirm payment and provide support.

5. OpenAI

Your letter content is processed by OpenAI (openai.com). OpenAI's API does not use API-submitted data to train their models by default. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy for details.

6. Cookies

We use cookies only if you consent. These include:

Essential cookies: Required for the tool to function (e.g. anonymous device ID for rate limiting and paid unlock status). These cannot be declined.
